whats the point of saying making the titles character based... if you put all the time and energy into maxing a kurzick or luxon title would you really want to have to max it again on other characters... i don't think so.

also since gw2 will make many things in hom, including titles, account based nwayz, making it character based on gw1 would be pointless since it would still be available on account based on gw2.

<< my advice, leave a good thing alone. HFFF= good thing, one of the few ways that you can make money that hasn't been nerfed yet. Luxons have Fast faction farming areas too. Even if theirs takes a little longer (like the kill quest) they also get drops from that so a little bit more money so it balances out.

I agree that this seems like a bout of dejavu. I and my guild- and alliance-mates wouldn't mind a weekend to "Dye" for, to be honest. Haven't been one in a very, VERY long time. So why are they doing another Alliance Battles weekend? Makes no sense to me.

Weekend to DYE for, right the first one ever was just a week after NF been released, the second one was about a year ago, so im sort of expecting that a new dye weekend shouldnt be that long away, but one can only hope.

I really enjoyed AB for a while, at least until loading time fatigue finally got the best of me. Still, its a nice change up for those that tire of HFFF for at least a weekend.

This weekend, get double points towards your Luxon and Kurzick alliance titles. Receive double points for transferring 1,000 faction for Jadeite or Amber, for exchanging 3,000 faction for an alliance skill, and for transferring 5,000 faction to raise your alliance's reputation.

Ehmmm... funny how it all turned into FFF bitchin again. While I do agree that gaining allegiance faction in PvE should either be removed completely or nerfed to the state where it is significantly below gain from AB/FA, that does seem awfuly off topic...

On the relevant note: I hate AB weekends - its a like a nub hour around the clock... epic fails in every match...
I got so pissed last time I skipped it almost entirely... Mind you AB is pretty much all I do in GW these days.

Excellent. I should be able to get my 15k Kurzik this weekend then. I refuse to buy Amber when it's so easy to get faction over these weekends.

I've got 70 stashed away so far, and that's after getting some armour last week... It's still quite easy to get it together after normal AB's but these weekends make it even quicker...and frankly I dont' like to AB unless I have to. It's not exactly...interesting...
